We see Delhi legalizing homosexuality amid what appears to be a ricochet of political, religious and societal schisms. Without surprise, this development bears closer analogy to 'societal water-boarding' than to the intended 'Bonfire of Disparity' it professes to be.

Ironically, it is not disparity when women and children from oppressed classes in Odhav collect waste in hazardous conditions while sipping on the bile of recession. And it is somehow lesser disparity to have only Dalits perform post-mortems at Government Hospital Mortuaries using hammers and chisels to break open skulls in barely ventilated autopsy rooms inhaling decay invariably hanging in air.
