Recent encounters of Pakistan's city police with "American officials" at check posts in sensitive areas in the cities like Lahore and Islamabad have rung alarm bells within the general public and other sensitive institutes of Pakistan.

An even more disturbing episode was when "agent Morgan" was found taking photographs with a camera fitted with telescopic lens of Pakistan Police head quarters in Lahore, Pakistan. When she was caught / interrogated and questioned by the security personnel, she was arrogant and misbehaved. On forceful confiscation of her camera, images of various sensitive areas within the military cantonment of Lahore, Pakistan were found. Unfortunately, top leadership and US consulate senior officials came to her rescue and freed her.
In a second incident two other "US agents" were stopped by Lahore civil police at a check post as the vehicle in which these "Americans" were traveling, had tinted windows. The two agents refused to step out of their vehicle and refused the police to search the vehicle. In addition they threatened the police officials of dire consequences if they were not allowed to go. Nevertheless, the police did not give up. The agents then threatened to open fire on the police and the civilians in the area. Fortunately for television media crew, this whole event was recorded and broadcasted across the entire network all across the world. Again US consulate officials interfered and got the agents out of the situation.
