There are reports out of Kabul about seriously lewd conduct and sexual misconduct by mercenaries employed by civilian contractors. According to media reports the contract with ARMORGROUP is not going to be renewed. Meanwhile there are 104000 such personnel in Afghanistan. It is well known that US forces used Bangkok as a rest and recreation area for the troops in VietNam and Hollywood has given full coverage to all that happened in Bangkok---drugs and sex.
Afghanistan is a Muslim country with a strong culture of religiosity. Afghans are a proud people with their own culture---a culture they defend with their lives as the Soviets and many others found out the hard way.
