Srinagar: Expressing his gratitude to the government and people of Pakistan for their "sincere support to the people of Jammu and Kashmir in their struggle for right to self determination," the Chairman Islami Tanzim-i-Azadi, Mohammad Samad Inquilabi Monday said that February 5 was an important day for Kashmiris.
In a statement to Press Bureau of India, the party chairman said, "February 5 is an important day for Kashmiris because on this day, government and people of Pakistan show their solidarity with oppressed people of Kashmir."
Inquilabi reiterated hope that the Islamic country will continue with its support on political, diplomatic and moral front for people of Jammu and Kashmir in their 'struggle for right to self determination."
Meanwhile, Inquilabi visited Kalampora Pulwama where troopers of Army's 62-Rashtriya Rifles and SOG of Police had allegedly killed 35-year old Mushtaq Ahmad Mir.
He expressed his sympathies with the family of the diseased and condemned the killing. (PBI)
