Kothai Taluk Mysore district: 14th February 2010 was a special day for the Christian residing in Neral Village as the newly built church; Native Village Vision Church was to be inaugurated. All the Church members gathered for the special inauguration service held at the church. The service started at 5:00 in the evening. During the prayer service, an angry mob barged into the newly built Church. The radicals insulted the Christian for their beliefs and accused them of alleged forced conversion.
The Villagers filed false complaints of forced conversion against the Christians at the Beechanahalli Police Station. Police Sub-Inspector's Shinvana and Maliarjun forced the Christians from continuing the service. Pastor N S Suresh (34), the minister of the church was pressurized to stop the prayer fellowship. Pastor produced the legal documents, but still he not allowed to continue the inauguration service.
On 15th morning, the police did not allow the Believers to enter the Church and were forbidden to continue with the service.
Last year, pastor has purchased a land and got it registered as the Native Village Vision Church. Pastor has also obtained the required permission from the Beechanahalli Panchayat to construct church. Pastor Suresh is the minister of the Native Village Vision Church and is ministering to 30 believers.
