Elvis Costello cancels Israel Gigs

Elvis Costello has cancelled two planned gigs in Israel saying he refused to play in the Pariah state due to the "intimidation" and "humiliation" of the Palestinian people.

What a fantastic decision and lets hope the growing cultural boycott also involves a full scale Academic boycott of this State built on Terrorism and Occupation.

London Muslim finds it interesting that the Israelite Culture Minister claimed Costello was "unworthy" of performing in Israel. Sorry mate Israel is a land governed by murderous psychopathic War Criminals and is unworthy of receiving any musician from the civilised world until it mends its ways, leaves the occupied territories and stops killing innocent Palestinian Christian and Muslim civilians.
