Facebook becomes Racistbook

Recent events on facebook are not hidden from anyone anymore (thanks partially to Muslims protesting against these events).

What is important is to realize the difference between freedom of speech and abuse of freedom of speech. Unfortunately most media groups fail to realize this simple and easy to understand concept or rather they don’t want to understand it. This is especially true when the hate being spewed is against a select target like Muslims. Facebook despite having a large number of Muslim users has completely ignored the requests by the Muslim users of Facebook to remove certain offensive pages. This only means one thing… Facebook is part of this pathetic and idiotic campaign by some retards.

As Muslims and Pakistani Muslims we have a right to protest but we must ensure that we don’t harm our own properties and country in these protests. Our protest must be peaceful and civilized, something that the West has failed to do.

Other Muslim countries should also join boycott of Facebook and all advertisements must be removed from this network.

What we might see in the coming days may be retaliatory attacks on other religions like (Ideas already floating on the net):

- cartoons of Pope riding little white kids inside a Church in front of a Crucifix.

- Jewish Holocaust victims being shown as bitches of the Nazi soldiers

- Hindu priests and Gods… engaged in animal sexual orgies (elephants, monkeys etc.)

We as Muslims must avoid such attacks on other religions as our religion does not allow us to disrespect beliefs and faiths of others.
