Haryana molestation case: Victim goes missing
The disappearance of Arvinder Kaur, the complainant, is disturbing as it comes close on the heels of her threatening to end her life if the retired police officer was not arrested.
Confirming that Arvinder had indeed disappeared from her house, Yamunanagar SP Sivas Kaviraj said she had gone on her own and the police are trying to locate her. The victim's father, Jagjeet Singh, told cops he found her missing when he returned home from the market at about 7 pm. And, when he asked his wife about her, she was taken aback at not finding her home.
Three police personnel -two women and a man - were on duty at Arvinder's house. It is said that when she left, they accompanied her. Kaviraj said that Arvinder had probably gone to Chandigarh to approach Haryana chief minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
