New Delhi: Calling CWG as a very big scam, BJP President Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's office should answer the allegations to corruption at Commonwealth Games as it was approved by the Cabinet. Some kickbacks in the Rs 70,000 crore works for the Commonwealth Games had been stashed away in Swiss banks, Gadkari alleged on Tuesday, and said the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) had monitored many of the controversial deals. "It is really great, great, great corruption," the Bharatiya Janata Party chief said at a press conference.
He further demanded a JPC probe into the matter. According to him, the budget kept escalating and yet was approved by PMO. Gadkari also claimed that BJP has proof of CWG corruption.
