Although rains have stopped in rural Sindh, 25 more people died in the flooded areas of the province.
More than 233 people have died in the flood-hit areas of the country. Thursday's fatalities occurred in Nawabshah, Badin, Hyderabad, Mirupurkhas and Sanghar.
Most of the deaths were caused by disease, including gastroenteritis and malaria, while some fatalities occurred by drowning.
A breach occurred in the LBOD Sem Nullah near Jhuddo and the water is heading towards Naukot.
In Badin, 10 villages were flooded as a 50-foot wide breach emerged in the Mirwah Canal near Seerani. Another 20 villages were submerged in Johi, while a 10-foot long part of a bridge was washed away.
Villages in district Mirpurkhas are still under water, with four to five feet of water on the roads in Mirpurkhas city.

During a visit to Tharparkar district, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah gave monetary compensation worth Rs200,000 to flood-stricken families. "Families affected by the disaster should register themselves in relief camps," the minister said. The chief minister also visited Badin and Umerkot with Sindh Information minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, former ministers Qamaruz Zaman Kaira and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
